Meet Dr. Merav Hasler

Together, we will create a safe, non-judgmental space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings, develop coping strategies, and work towards meaningful change.”

Dr. Merav Hasler is a seasoned Clinical Psychologist with over a decade of experience serving the NY Tri-state area. She holds an undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and earned her masters and doctorate from St. John’s University in Queens. Dr. Hasler has undergone intensive training in a range of therapeutic approaches and areas of expertise, including Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Rational-Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Radically Open Dialectical Behavior Therapy (RO-DBT), and Parent Management Training.

 

Throughout her career, Dr. Hasler has worked in diverse clinical settings, such as schools, community mental health centers, clinical institutes, and private practice. Her broad experience has equipped her with a deep understanding of various therapeutic modalities and the ability to tailor her approach to meet the unique needs of her clients. Dr. Hasler is dedicated to helping individuals achieve their mental health goals and improve their overall wellbeing through evidence-based practices and compassionate care. 

Dr. Hasler’s expertise extends beyond traditional therapy and includes comprehensive psychoeducational and neuropsychological evaluations. Her assessments are designed to uncover underlying issues that impact academic performance and personal development, allowing for tailored interventions and support strategies. Having worked as a school psychologist for over a decade, her nuanced understanding of the educational system and available resources enables her to effectively assist families in finding and securing the appropriate help for their children.

Outside of her professional life, Dr. Hasler enjoys traveling, doing pilates, and spending quality time with her children and family. She is fluent in Hebrew and can provide services bilingually.
